Scope
The service provides general editorial information for a Canadian home food garden. It does not inspect the site, identify a cultivar, test soil or water, diagnose a condition or replace qualified local advice.
Your decisions and safety
You remain responsible for site safety, structural loads, electrical and water hazards, allergies, edible-species identification, current restrictions and suitable materials. Use clearly labelled, traceable seed or healthy transplants and check current CFIA, provincial, territorial and local movement or import requirements before ordering or carrying plants, seed, soil or growing media. If a pest control product is considered at all, confirm current Health Canada registration, the crop and use on the complete label, plus any provincial, territorial or municipal restriction; the project does not prescribe a treatment.
Evidence and corrections
Draft status, dates, sources and review scope are part of the content. A source can change or become unavailable. Report suspected errors so the affected rule and review status can be reassessed.
Permitted use
