How a source enters the package
The project records organization, stable URL, access date, editorial role, rights position and limitations. Operational rules may cite only sources allowed by the fail-closed package contract.
When sources disagree
Differences are treated as evidence of scope, cultivar, climate or method, not silently averaged. A conservative original band is used or the rule remains unavailable pending review.
No disguised copying
The project links and paraphrases factual context. It does not republish source maps, tables, images or substantial text without explicit compatible rights.
Canada package register
Canada English home food garden editorial synthesis — version 1
Global Garden Planner
Original eight-profile model, planting bands and en-CA corpus. It remains an editorial draft until independent Canadian agronomic review is recorded.
Canadian Climate Normals 1991–2020
Environment and Climate Change Canada
Supports distinguishing climate averages from a current forecast and recognizing large local variation. The package does not ingest ECCC data or derive month bands from station values.
Canada's Plant Hardiness Site
Natural Resources Canada, Canadian Forest Service
Supports explaining that Canadian hardiness combines long-term climatic factors and was designed around perennial survival, not an annual vegetable planting date.
Assessing sunlight
Gardening at USask, University of Saskatchewan
Supports direct observation of sun at the final position. Project crop thresholds and guide wording remain original editorial values pending review.
Vegetable container gardening
Gardening at USask, University of Saskatchewan
Supports matching container volume, drainage and growing mix to the crop. Package depth references are original and await Canadian review.
How to water outdoor containers
Gardening at USask, University of Saskatchewan
Supports observing weather, container properties and drainage instead of imposing a fixed watering interval or volume.
Determining planting dates
Gardening at USask, University of Saskatchewan
Supports separating frost-free period, soil warmth, germination and cultivar maturity. It is prairie-oriented and does not supply the national calendar model.
Importing small packet seed into Canada
Canadian Food Inspection Agency
Supports checking current seed and plant-health requirements before importing. Rules can differ by material, origin, destination and later updates.
Use pesticides safely
Health Canada
Supports checking current federal registration, complete label and additional provincial or municipal restrictions. The project does not diagnose or prescribe.
Privacy Guide for Businesses
Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada
Supports privacy transparency and meaningful-consent context. Applicability of PIPEDA or provincial law to the Spain-based operator remains for legal review.
About Canada's federal accessibility law
Government of Canada
Supports recognizing federal accessibility context and the need to assess provincial and territorial regimes separately. It does not establish that this service is federally regulated.
Guía sobre el uso de las cookies — mayo de 2025
Agencia Española de Protección de Datos
Supports the Spain-based operator context. No optional storage is active in the technical candidate, and advertising would require a fresh legal and consent review.
